Dr. Pados Róbert Béla

Dr. Pados Róbert Béla was born in 1957 in Budapest. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Semmelweis University of Medicine in 1980 with summa cum laude, and passed his specialist exam in 1982 with excellent results. Early in his career he worked at the university's Department of Oral Surgery and later at the Department of Conservative Dentistry.

Alongside his clinical and teaching work, he was also engaged in scientific research: he authored 24 scientific publications and gave 32 presentations at professional conferences. He opened his private practice in 1981 and is currently the owner and lead dentist of Dr. Pados Bt.

He continuously expands his professional knowledge through further training, having studied not only in Hungary but also in the Netherlands and Finland. Besides general dentistry, his practice covers oral surgery, implantology, gnathology — the function and disorders of the temporomandibular joint — and aesthetic dentistry.

In 2006, under the new specialist examination system, he passed specialist exams in both conservative dentistry and prosthodontics, passing with excellent results.

Outside dentistry, he has been involved in martial arts and self-defence for many years, holding black belts and coaching qualifications in several disciplines. In his free time he runs regularly, hikes and attends classical music concerts. He has completed several marathons, and one of his most notable mountaineering achievements is climbing the 6,200-metre Island Peak. He also speaks English.
