    What orthodontic appliances are available?
    The right appliance always depends on the given deviation and treatment goal. Our clinic works with removable and fixed orthodontic solutions, among others. Myofunctional trainers and invisible orthodontic aligners are also available.
    Which is better: removable or fixed braces?
    There is no general answer to this. The type of appliance is selected based on age, the dental and bite deviation, and the treatment goal. When treatment begins in early childhood, fewer compromises are needed, so we recommend the first check-up as early as age 2.
    How long does orthodontic treatment take?
    The duration of treatment depends significantly on the type and severity of the deviation, the chosen appliance and the individual response. The expected duration can be estimated after the diagnostic examinations. Generally a minimum of 1 year.
    Is orthodontics painful?
    After placing or activating the appliance, a temporary feeling of pressure and sensitivity may occur, which usually decreases gradually.
    What happens during the first orthodontic consultation?
    We examine the position of the teeth, the bite and the jaw relationships, discuss the treatment goal, and if needed we recommend further diagnostic examinations.
    What happens after orthodontic treatment is completed?
